Partnership Community Health Center, Inc. (PCHC) offers a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program called Cuídate that is typically held within local schools and organizations such as:

  • Appleton West
  • Appleton Central
  • Appleton North
  • Appleton East
  • Boys and Girls Club of Menasha
  • Boys and Girls Club of the Fox Valley

Cuídate is a culturally based program to reduce HIV and sexual risk behaviors among Latino youth. Cuídate helps Latino youth develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills to reduce their risk for HIV. The program emphasizes risk reduction strategies such as sexual abstinence and use of protection. Students involved in the program will be able to acquire correct and reliable information about risk and disease, develop attitudes that support safe decision making, build skills to be able to abstain from sex, protect themselves, and gain confident in their ability to practice safer sex. The Cuídate program was created for Spanish and non-Spanish speaking Latino youth ages 13-18, but the curriculum is not limited to Latinos and has proven effective among teens that may be at risk.
